Lt. Col. William Baker Suite
Focusing on the house’s history of social justice, this suite honors a Gettysburg resident, Lt. Col. William Baker, who did the research and took the initiative to do the hard work to exonerate the black soldiers who were wrongly accused in the Brownsville incident in 1906. Because of the work of Lt. Col. Baker, these soldiers were given honorable discharges in the 1970's.
The spacious main bedroom features a king-sized bed and plenty of seating room. A second bedroom has a twin daybed. The two separate rooms are adjoined by a private hallway. A private bath is connected to the master bedroom. Dimensions 17x11 ft.
