The Gettysburg BBQ Festival is Saturday AND Sunday of Memorial Day weekend in historic Gettysburg, PA offering tons of everything BBQ!

Activities include:

A massive Kids Zone with pony rides, bounce houses, face painting, balloon twisting and a rock climbing wall
World Class BBQ Taster Kits available from Noon until 2pm ($10 each at gate or inside festival) *Kit includes nine 2oz BBQ samples
Over 40 BBQ competition teams competing for big trophies and cash prizes
Dozens of area restaurants, caterers, artists, crafters and businesses
Beer from Appalachian Brewing Company
Live Local Music featuring The Antietam Generals and Juvenile Characteristics on Saturday, and Luke Lucas followed by Southern Charm on Country Music Sunday

This two day, double contest is a Pennsylvania State Championship event, governed by the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) and its affiliates.

The Gettysburg BBQ Festival's net proceeds go to several local charities including the Adams County Literacy Council.
