National Apple Harvest Festival

Jump in the car and head to the Annual National Apple Harvest Festival at the South Mountain Fairgrounds, just 10 miles northwest of historic Gettysburg. Join the fun during the first two full weekends of October from 8 am to 6 pm daily, rain or shine. Admission for the event is only $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, free for children under 12; parking and shuttle service are included in the price of admission. South Mountain Fairgrounds is located near Arendtsville on Route 234.

Attractions Include:  300+ arts and crafts vendors; antique and classic cars; antique cider press, farn equipment, gas engines, and shingle mill; apple art, jellies, and syrup making; chainsaw carving; free live entertainment; hayrides; Kid Country Barn and petting zoo; pony rides; pie baking content and auction; pie eating contest; photo contents, scarecrow building; and tractor square dancing.
