General Merritt's Suite

Our largest two room suite is the upper floor of the original 1809 farmhouse with a fireplace, spacious bath, and private stairs. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom has a full bed. This room is dedicated to Wesley Merritt, the General who made this farmhouse his headquarters during the Battle.

Reilly's North Carolina Artillery Suite

This two room suite is perfect for a family or group. The master bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds. This room is on the first floor.  The inn has an artillery shell on display that was discovered by the barn and was most likely fired at the farm by Reilly's North Carolina Artillery.

Graham's Artillery

This first floor room was the original parlor in the 1809 farmhouse. The room oozes history, with hand-hewn beamed ceiling, original chestnut floors, and two-foot thick stone walls & gas fireplace. Graham's Artillery was positioned at the beginning of the driveway and the artillery teams maneuvered on the farm.

1st Texas Infantry

This large corner second floor room has two beds for travelers who don't want to share beds or for families that want to share a room. The Texas units that fought here on the South Cavalry Battlefield walked all the way from Texas to Pennsylvania.

2nd US Dragoons

This second floor room has a queen bed and a full size futon sofa bed with an excellent mattress. The Dragoons were part of the Regular Army who were taught to fight equally well on foot and on horseback. These soldiers were the stereotypical cavalry of the west, brought back east for the Civil War.

Hart's Artillery

A beautiful exposed stone wall, lacy canopy bed, and hanging Amish Quilt with a heart theme make this room a guest favorite. This room is named after the  horse artillery unit from South Carolina commanded by Captain J. F. Hart that fired on the Union cavalry on the South Cavalry field. Hart's Artillery were part of Stewart's Horse Artillery.

Rush's Lancers

This elegant 2nd floor room is dedicated to the Rush's Lancer's Cavalry unit out of Philadelphia. Sleep on a four-poster queen sized bed.

7th Georgia Infantry

This two bedroom suite has a queen bed and a twin sofa pullout in the master bedroom and a twin bed in a small second bedroom.
